    JavaScript async specifier

    Hi,

    is it possible to make from a c# method-declaration a javascript 'async' method ?

    -> like async function {functionname}()
    or {functionname}: async function()

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately not. Besides it would not be compatible with Internet Explorer browser, according to the MDN Entry on async functions.

    You can still do it if you wrap custom code via templates or Bridge.Script.Write(), though.

    Hope this helps!

      Hi,

      thank you for your answer.

      I do'nt need IE. So i would use the javascript async/await principle.
      For this i need also different c#-methods as 'async' (javascript async).

      Is it not possible to transform with the 'attributes' the method declaration to '.. async function ..'?
      To change the name, is possible !

      Bye,
